WELCOME!
We will be using this wiki space to complete many of our tasks throughout the course. You will be able to save explored resources, complete group projects and share/discuss work.

Adding pages to the wiki seems confusing but is actually pretty simple. I added a test page to assignment 8 on the wikispace to show you. Here are some simple steps. Suppose you want to add a document to Assignment 4-C-1:
  • Complete your document in word, powerpoint, pdf file, etc.
  • Click on the assignment on the left wiki toolbar
  • Once the assignment opens click on "edit this page" at the top of the screen
  • On the editing toolbar there is an icon that looks like it has a tree on it - clik on that
  • A screen called images and files opens. Towards the bottom it says "Attach New File". Click on browse to find your document then click on upload. Your file is now added to the squares of other files at the top of that dialog box/screen
  • Now go back over to the open assignment page (leave the image & file dialog open). Click where you want to insert your file link to get a cursor - ie: the table or space where it states you can add a link to your file. Now go back over to the open image & file dialog and double click on the icon for your file. A link will be placed where you had the cursor.
  • Close the dialog box.
  • Click save on the page edit tool bar
  • You will now see a purple link on the page that takes viewers to your linked document.
Hope this helps external image regular_smile.gif
